1971 F100 2wd lift?

Post by Chicken »

Greetings. First time poster, long time lurker. I have tried searching to no avail. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried (successfully) to lift a 2wd. I'm only looking for a max of 2 inches. I've looked into the body lift but the ones I find state that will not work for me b/c of the power steering box location being so close to firewall and limited length of shaft to the box. I have been unable to find a suspension lift also. Please forgive my ignorance, I'm new to the Ford world.

TIA.

There is a guy on here who lifted his. I wish I could remember who. He lowered his I-beams with home made brackets. When the gallery is restored (bless Keith!) You can see his pics. Looks pretty cool!!

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!
