It would depend on the cone depth of the speaker, but I'd have to seriously doubt it. There's only a few inches of clearance under there.

Already tried that buddy. no way jose..... even if you find small enough boxes to get them under they won't sound right. There subwoofers right?

Best bet here would be to get some bazooka tubes and put them under instead of the 10's.

I've been researching this quite a bit. First, no subs. The only solution I could come up with for subs would be in the doors, which would work great, as long as you don't want to lower the windows. Air is overrated anyway. So I'm proceeding with 6.5" component speakers.

I THINK (hope) I'm going to fit an 2" tall amplifier under there- I tried it with a cardboard box of similar dimensions and it might work. I'll have to cut out the carpet, but it might just barely make it.

i was wondering how deep the area behind the inner wall up by the little grommets? Or how about the headliner with speakers built in would the fit a slim line 10" subwoofer?

they might fit behind the seat. when i was i california i saw those small pickups with speakers in the bed. since it hardly rains out there they didn't have much to worry about. i do think some of them had tunua cover on the bed though just in case.
