Td,
Did you have to make your wheel housings bigger for the rear tires? Or were you able to stuff them in there?

They fit with juuussst a little room left over, no rubbing at all though.

Not sure if it lowered but it sits low. Think its because of the wheels and tires.

looks like it's been dropped in the front based on the camber without an engine.

Got a better look this morning in the daylight. I would say its been lowered. The Ibeams are resting on the bumpstops without an engine in it. So looks like I will be fixing that. Now I need to decide where I want it to sit now.

Man great thread guys. Very inspirational. Just got a 71 bump SW with a 302 last week and can't wait to drop'er... Already have the body painted. Rebuilt engine with a C4. Need to get the interior redone next then drop and wheels... Lookin to go with 18x8 in the fron and 20x10's in the back.. have the coils up front bucled and the rear axle flipped but just not low enough.. Anyway, beautiful rides all. I'll try and get pics up asap... :fr:

Check out the shaved drip rails, the very tight hood gaps, the groovy rear view mirror, & what looks like a tapered nose & bucket seats!
....I also dig the SHELBY-like wheels!... :hmm: Looks like Coy's c-67's?...

thanks..i wanna make thread on the project update section..so i can add some pics...
the front i made some bracket for the cv setup.. that way i can relocate the upper control arms higher that way i wouldnt have the wheels looking like { / \ } this..
the rear is very similar to the 2 link setup that MARZ68 has on his truck..i should of taken pics but i was so excited to test fit the bed and try the setup that i forgot..and i haven't had time to remove it...i will soon..i need to add the a link bar, sway bar and shocks..so i still need some work...

the seats..are actually the rear seats of an f250 king ranch..if i cant find the bucket seats like how originally wanted i will modify these..:D

I don't know of any more pics. I stumbled across this one looking for a 67-69 grill for my truck. Saw it, fell in love and posted it.
