I believe that no cab lights were factory installed. I believe all were dealer installed. Grote makes quality cab lights; I had some on my '63.

Ford was running the factory wiring for our cab/marker lights them as early as 68:

I still don't think cab lights were factory installed. Door mirrors weren't factory installed; they were left inside boxes inside the cab for the dealers to install.

You've given me a mission, I have my '68 and '70 cabs down at the farm with OEM lights still in and I guess if they were factory the holes would be punched, not drilled. I also have a spare set I pulled off the '69 U haul truck and I think those holes were punched, not drilled. Those bulbs are DZ 77-533 with a SAE PC-68 stamp as well. Plastic base with a 1/4" thick black foam gasket that mostly recesses into the light housing.

i have a favor to ask you all who see this i have a 68 camper special f250 with these cab lights by dietz i was told once before where i could find them but after moving lost the info i have only seen them on two other fords both from the 60s and the other 1 was a semi from late 60s early 70s i would really appreciate any info well i have pics and can get model number from lights lens they are yellow with a concave front not bullit shaped and the stand up not flush with cab for some reason it says my pics are too big for here but i will gladly email to any and all who might help

eBay, they pop up NOS quite often. Usually you can find them in junk yards on larger trucks.

Saw these very-retro cab lights in my 'hood.
It's a '67.

If I recall right those are old international harvester "satelite" marker lamps. I had a set of 5 at one point becasue I was going to do the same thing but lost a couple over the years.

yeah i see those all the time mine are similar but the lens does not go into the housing it is flush and they are bigger and flat on the backside and do not adjust

I installed mine a few weekends ago, still need to wire them up its been to damn hot haha
I came up with what i thought looked good in my head so i drilled the holes
