Re: Restoration Progress
Good evening Olivof,
That's very impressive, immaculate work! The flareside bed is very stylish, especially with that gorgeous wood you've fashioned for it. Somehow, I get the feeling this is not your first automobile restoration.

Re: Restoration Progress
I have completed quite a few cars and trucks in the last 30 years. I run a two man shop man and each show restoration takes about a year to complete. This one is taking about 16 months because of so many modifications and additions. I have about three weeks left on this one.
Thanks,
Fred....

Re: Restoration Progress
Well,
If you don't like it when it is done, you can just send it down to Brandon, and I will make sure it has a good home!
Those Tail Lights with the Wood Bed, really make it pop. I like the tailgate hinges too!
Did you paint the truck or do you have someone that does it?

Re: Restoration Progress
Well I think it will need to stay in this area for quite a while, but thanks for the offer anyway.
The original tail lighs look too much like trailer lights, these bring back the Ford look.
Eveything from stripping, sandblasting, mechanical repairs, including paint work I do in my shop.
No sublet work goes out of my shop. I did send the grill and hood mldgs.out to have them chrome plated.
The next posting will be the completed truck..
Thanks to all.
