That is one sweet looking Bumptruck you got there(the others are nice too!), I saw it on Evil-bay...

Why do we drive on a parkway, and park on a driveway?

The other 2% actually made it home..."

Hey tuff4rd

Yep Olde Skool "Shorty" be all mine...
She's a sweety, but can be a real PITB...
It's a lot harder to find parts for her than I thought it would be.
I assumed that since she was a '68 Ford, that parts would be relatively easy to find.
Actually, the Ford truck parts haven't been that difficult to find... it's the Bluebird bus specific parts that are drivin' me nuts.
Bluebird doesn't carry anything that old and can't (or won't) provide me with any tech info at all so most of it is learn as I go.
I am making simple diagrams and taking lots of pics so I can remember what the heck I did...
That way, I can't come back later and ask "what the heck wuz I thinkin"
Slowly, but surely, she's coming together as I go through each major system.
She does start, run and drive great. When I first got'er, none of her lights worked... I got that all fixed...
Now, I am claening up the cabin area and finishing up some electrical work, then I will be going through the brake system.
When I get that done, I should be able to take it down to the State Patrol and have it inspected.
I wouldn't have to do that if I kept it licensed as a bus, but if I have the registration changed to RV then the insurance drops to about 1/4th the cost of bus insurance.
After I do that, I can get YOM plates for it and the yearly registration will be free... yes !!!

take care,
KaptnKAOS
