Yes the stock canister fuel pump that came on our bumps has a filter inside of it. It's a common filter that every parts store stocks, (sorry but i don't have the part number). I came to really dislike them due to the large "O ring" that seals it seemed to always kick my butt, (leaking and a common source of air causing the pump to loose pickup).

did away with my canister style pump as soon as i could. :thup:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
