pumping brakes ?

all it was was that when i left off the brake pedal, the piston in the master cylinder was going farther back then it should have been, so i set the pedal so it will only come up so far, and now my brakes work perfectly fine!!!

So how did you acomplish that?

Did you take any pics?

he probably had an adjustable rod that came out of the booster and hooked to the brake pedal.

actually, the way i fixed it [for the time being] is, i adjusted the brakelight switch, so it wont let the pedal come the whole way up, thats how the PO had it rigged, , but, i am making a actual stop for it at work,, im a CNC machinist at Penn United Technology, in Cabot Pennsylvania, and employee's are allowed to do stuff for themselfes/home, as long as they ok it with a manager, and do it off company hours

Brother, I have the utmost respect for CNC machinists.

I think that it would be awesome to be able to fabricate parts on a CNC!

Especially for free on someone else's equipment!

thanks lawrence, and i love being able to make things for myself, right now ive been running a CNC lathe, called a hardinge Twin Turn , it has dual chucks, dual tool changers, with 12 tools on each changer. Penn United employs about 650 employees, and im lucky enough to be one of them. anyways,,, , keep it up keith!!!
