Im putting some out of a mitsubishi eclpse in my 71.Used a piece of 3/4 inch plywood cut in a square and then screwed 2x4s to it to shim it up where i wanted it. Worked out pretty nice. Just a thought

I wood've used treated or cedar or even redwood. That way you eliminate your insect problem. At least in your seating area...

i have money! i helped my friend pull out and haul this huge yucca to the dump. now im going to do my seat with the money.:D i dont know how its going to fit yet.:dk:

You're right jz, this is the way to go. Just add some Mustang add on style headrests from 67 or so and it will satisfy the whiplash problem.

i like those too but im going to be looking for some that arent leather and that look like these. does any one know how much i should expect to pay for them from pick a part or some other junk yard? i want to buy a set of speakers but if i dont have enough $$ im not going to buy them.
