The 67 grille is just simply the best looking grille,hands down.

Also keep in mind that the lower valance panel is different between the '67-69's and the '70-72's. This is due to to the different design of the turn signal/parking light assemblies.spartman wrote:Here is what Keith says:

1970 grille shells are a one-year-only item...the '70 grille inserts are too narrow to fit into the '71-'72 shells. The '71-'72 grille shells and inserts will interchange with each other.

There are two styles of headlight doors: '67-'69 and '70-'72. The two styles are not interchangeable.
