Ok, my brother took my truck down to central four wheel drive and they told him radius arms and the axle and outer bushings were shot in the front end of the truck and shocks. they're cost was $263 per side for parts only. And charges $75 an hour with 4 hr minimum. Are you nuts! So he went to Napa and got all the parts $165.00 including shocks. I understand having to pay overhead of doing business but that outrageous. I had a 85 f 150 and had to change both shock towers, new shocks, all u-jouints front, and drive lines of less then there parts charge..... my brother has 40 yrs auto mechanical experience but he's 62 yrs old and has COPD. So he's going to have a friend help him. Boy this is getting expensive even without the help of an auto shop. If I was there id have it done in a day, it might take me 8 hr in the driveway but I would have it done.

just like to say hi and thank you all that have welcomed me. Well (deep hole in the ground; sometimes there water in it, sometimes not: I like water in it so when I fall into it, it just doesn't hurt as much). My brother was searching Craig's List and found someone to haul the truck back here to Nebraska for $550.00. And then he's going to haul my boat back with his 72 3/4 ton Ford. 390cid auto. Should get better fuel mileage with his. He's planning on going down to Tusla to see his kid's and Grand children when he drop the boat. My truck is going to be here on the 6th of July.
