Actually, unless you're making super-sharp corners, you don't need a bender. This 3/16" steel line can be bent by hand without kinking it. I started off using a bender, until I discovered I almost COULDN'T kink the line, even if I tried...so I just started bending by hand, it was a LOT faster. The only other tool you'd need is the double-flare setup.

thanks kieth, what are the "T"s u bought or are those stock? i want to do mine like you did yours that way i dont have to mess with it for a long time.

I didn't use any 'tees', just unions to connect two pieces of line. I had two spots where I just used two pieces of line connected with a union instead of buying another long piece of line. I just tried to install the unions in a spot where they're fairly hidden.

yes becasue unions are illegal according to the d.o.t. i should try better to hide the ones on my truck.

Are you sure it's unions that are illegal, I know the "compression" fittings are . :hmm:

ok thanks for clearing that up kieth, i didnt know they were illegal, you learn somthing new everyday i guess.

what size brake lines do i need to buy? i went and priced it out for the fronts because those ones are shot for sure and need to be done first and its 6 somthing for two 3/16x8" long pieces.
