Mine is out the back. I wanted them to come out at the rear corner behind the wheels. Kind of tucked up with a turn down right at the ends where you don't see the pipe just the ends pointing downward. Shop said he couldn't do it because of the springs and hitch. I have the larger tips with the slash cut I guess you call it. Gets a little loud once in a while with the Hooker Aeros-chambers but no resonance. I wonder if the tips make it louder?

Mine is out the back now... I'm thinking H pipe w/ some kind of tube muffler and out the side on a angle w/ rectangle pipe close to the bed to give it a sleak look and cut the pipes to match the body line.

I'd be looking for a different shop next time, then.cdeal28078 wrote:Mine is out the back. I wanted them to come out at the rear corner behind the wheels. Re: where does your exhaust exit?
At least he was honest about his capabilities and didn't try, make a mess out of it and try and charge me for it like some people would have done. It is pretty tight under there for a 2 1/2" pipe the way I wanted it done and he is always very easy on the price.
I took him my 2 Hooker Aero-chambers and he ran true duels with 2 1/2" aluminized pipe and large chrome tips all the way out the back for $200. Couldn't beat that anywhere else around here.

Out to the side behind the back wheel. I don't like them out the back being
as I have a camper shell. If you have them out the back, in some cases exhaust
can flow up and in through the back of the truck. Then you get to smell exhaust.
I've seen this on station wagons too.
