I had to remove all my bed bolts recently and some of the shoulders were rounded off and I couldn't get anything on the domed heads. A grinder with cutting a disc got up inside the frame and cut them in no time. I tried to get one from the top and accidently let it get into the bed. So now I have a 1 inch cut to get repaired in an otherwise solid bed. :(

If you have a propane torch you could try heating it up the best you can and let it cool. The heat will expand the metal and break any corrosion in the threads. :2cents:

On rusted shocks that are going to the scrap pile. I put a deep socket on rod nut then the longest extension I can fit, to use as lever and work it back and forth till the rod breaks.

Last time I changed front shocks on a bump I used two visegrips at the top of the rod, under the spring mount. They had just enough grip to allow me to break the nuts loose. Suspension rust isn't a real big issue here though. A little bit of weasel whiz and a breaker bar are usually good enough.
