You guys arent going to beleive it but it was painted by Maaco. I was very impressed with the job they did. Very polite and professional. I got there most expensive paint package but that was much less than those custom paint and body places. I had some guys telling me 8k.

Well the next step for the old girl is a new set of shoes. But before I do that I want to upgrade the brakes and new exhaust.

What did Maaco charge you for that?

You sold me too on the maaco paint job! :thup:

Had always heard bad stuff about them, but your truck proves otherwise.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Believe me guys I did my research before making the jump to go to Maaco for the paint. Every forum that I checked said that Maaco was not a great place but I did find a few people that said that every Maaco is different and boy were they right. So all I can say is do your reasearch guys. This Maaco is in Montclair, Ca. The guy has owned this Maaco since the 60's. Great person. Realy likes to see these old girls in his shop. The day I went he had three bumps in the back freshly painted. When I say them I was SOLD!!!
