Yeah I think about 75 miles or is that Kilometers?

I always forget, Damn , Metric crap!

Now that's 1 if by land, 2 if by sea, I think?

If you don't already have the motor then here are a couple tips: Go 220v-240v if you can,because you'll get twice the power at half the cost! Get a "Shunt" Motor. The moment that they turn on your at Maximum torque! You'll want to go with a 220v-240v motor for sure.

What is the cfm on one of these compressors?

The closest I have found is it might be 2.2 cfm

Found some info at this site:

According to them the yorks have a CFM Rating of 4.0 CFM @ 90 PSI.

Not enough cfm to run a sandblaster.

Found another site that shows that if you run a york at 2000 rpm you will get 7.3 CFM out of it.

well since an engine could be running anywhere from 1500 -4000 rpm you could probably do some pulley arrangement to run it closer to 3000 rpm and get more out of it safely- don't forget the pressure relief valve- that'd be UGLY-jd

Okay let me get this straight here.
If you get 7.3 CFM @ 2,000 RPM, then shouldn't you get 21.9 CFM @ 6,000 RPM and 29.2 CFM @ 8,000 RPM!
Oh man this is awesome! 36.5 CFM @ 10,000 RPM

The Formula 1 cars this season switched to V8's from V10's.
The Redline on the V10's was about 19,000 RPM's. The V8's have been Redlining at around 22,000 to 23,000 RPM's.
Theoretically then If you were to install one of those York compressors on an F1 car you get a Whopping 87.6 CFM @ 24,000 RPM's!!!

That would seem to be the case.

I guess these things have a redline of about 6000 RPM.

Wonder how big of an electric motor would be needed to drive it?

well, i do not remember my CFM but the compressor i have in the garage is a 6.5hp, 150psi max, 110v witha 30 gal tank. I do like my cutoff switch for the motor, so i don't have to unplug it when i am done. I also ran PVC pipe through out the garage, where i have six outlets, so i don't have to drag a hose from one end of the garage to the other end.

I always hated doing that...I even installed Hose reels in the front and the back of my garage.
