Never use Fuel line for return hose. It will swell up inside and collapse causing a blockage. I had that problem on my 72. It blew all the fluid out of the pump before I caught it. Changed to return line from the auto parts store and never had any more problem so far. All the return hose is is hydraulic hose. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I thought about that today after making the post...
PS is nothing but a hydraulic system, of course it needs hydraulic hose... :doh:
