That would explian why it looked shortened, and the lack of rear helpers.

everything on it looks original untouched i know who bought it new i heard a story from more than one source saying that he bought it and put a wrecker bed on it to haul pepsi trucks when they broke down thats why the caution light and spotlights are on there as far as i know it hasn t changed other than the owners i dont know what the DSO 41 means but surely it means something dont know if all trucks have them or not will try to get more pics any perticular section of the truck just ask and i ll get it soon thanks for the help so far yall have been a big help

beleive the dso 41 means it was sent to Chicago but built in ontario canada.

What is the width of the frame in the rear? The DRW 1 tons are 34" wide. The SRW trucks may be be wider (they are on the newer trucks)...
If you all remember my (recently departed) F-250, it had a Dana 70 Dually rear axle I installed under it. Bolt in operation for the most part, just had to replace the U-bolts with the proper size and length.
Not hard to convert the front, just find the right spacers, and install them and the wheels...
Funny thing, I showed the OP's other post to my wife and it took 5 minutes to convince her it wasn't my old truck! :lol:

i ve looked for the numbers on the rear end and cant find them its a 14 bolt dana thats all i know for now does anyone know exactly where the numbers would be
