Any idea what re-arch would cost?

About $150 a pair around here. Last set of springs I did were front highboy pieces. Had them re-arched with an extra leaf added for $160

I may check into having them re-arched if thats all it would cost. I thought it would be way more. Either way, it will have to wait until it warms up some, 15 degrees today with 6" of new snow. Kinda discourages driveway jobs.

Just a little food for thought. I'm sure there is a spring shop around some place near you. Take it by and let them look at them. Get an estimate both ways. Have them measure your stance for you(note the difference in height left to right) that way they know how much to put in each side. And if it's cost effective pull'em out your self mark left and right and let them do the re-arch and assembly. I know a while back I took my main leaves and had them rebushed got the bushings and labor for about 35.00 a spring including new tie bolts of course that way on the brother-in-law plan (I used to manage the shop). If I remember correctly for 2"-2 1/2" leaves they charge about $6.00 per leave to re-arch and that should include reassembly

All my "local" spring shops are at least 35 miles away. Hard to stop in. I wonder how differant the prices are in my super inflated millionare laden part of the country.

It looks like you are also missing a rubber pad that quiets the noise when the spring hits the spring pad:

I thought I'd seen trucks that had a rubber pad there but wasn't sure. At first I tried to think how I could attach some kind of pad but couldn't come up with a way that I thought would last.
