i am quite used to ice and snow but i am very glad your truck did not get hit with any wood.its a very nice truck.
i also see that you are smart enough to keep the generator outside.i cant figure out why some folks bring them indoors and run them.
3 days with a generator is no big deal, i ran one for 4 years until we got our power line.

Yes I know you Northerners think us southerners are wussies when it comes to cold weather. A good friend of mine moved down here from up north and used to wear T-shirts when we were wearing 3 layers of winter stuff! He'd just laugh and shake his head!
Yes some people don't use common sense. There were too many of them overcome by running generators and kerosene heaters inside their homes. We've had too many mild winters here so we're paying for it this year I think.
So how's the weather in Alaska right now?
And in North Carolina?

The truck came new w/352 4bbl, 3 on the tree.
I rebuilt that in '80. Then last year found a '76 donor w/360 C6. So I rebuilt the 360 and had the local tranny guy do the C6 and then did transplant surgery. I still have a B&M floor shift to install but I think I want to build a console in first to bring the shifter up a bit higher and also add some storage space. I completly redid the wiring using diagrams from this site (thanks Keith!) All new front suspension. My assistant at the plant painted his 4X with that metalic blue (you really need to see it in the sun!) and had enough left to do mine as well! Lucky me! Just need to do something w/interier.

its actually been nice, in the low to mid 20s the past week,before that we got a bunch of snow.
i saw a friend of mine today ,he just got back from west Texas and he said it was cold and windy there last month,and there were no trees to stop the wind.
