i have 72 f100 whats the better of the 2 ways to lower it hangers and shackles or flip kit? which one is easiest.. i think the hanger and shackle would be...but the flip kit wont that like mess up the angle of the rear-end? using the hanger and shackles i use my current leaf springs right i dont hafta buy anyhting SPECIAL?

Hangers & shackles are by far the easiest. However, you don't want the shackles to be too long. Regardless of which way you go, if you're concerned about pinion/driveshaft angles, you can get a driveshaft angle finder. It's basically a high tech protractor. I think 4 Wheel Parts Wholesale and others carry these. Anyways, the fix would probably be a set of degree shims. These fit between your springs and axle to slightly rotate the pinion angle, similar to 4x4 lift blocks, but small and wedge shaped. On a 1 piece driveshaft, the yoke/shaft angle should equal the shaft/pinion angle, or at least as close as you can get it. A 2 piece driveshaft is a little more tricky, often times requiring a carrier bearing/crossmember drop on a 4x4.
