seam sealer on the hood

Post by Sbairboy »

ok, if anyone knows the answer to this it would be appreciated...(someone has to know on here im confident)...on the front of the hood where the two pieces join together, is there supposed to be seam sealer in the gap or is it just covered over by the paint?...I had the hood stripped and now i dont remember whether it was there before or not and i looked at some other trucks but i could not tell...let me know...thanks...

No, there was no seam sealer there. The only seam sealer used on the exterior body was along the beltline seam on the box.
