brake pictures

Post by boots »

Does anyone have a picture showing how the brake light switch connects to the pedal assembly. Also for the non power M/C does anything connect to the back, besides the black rubber boot, and the rod? Is there a washer that goes between anything?

edit: here is a picture of the washer im talking about with the boot and the rod. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v629/ ... /brake.jpg

Which type do you have? The '67 or the '68-up?

I figured as much, but you never know what a previous owner has done.

I'll see if I can get you a good one today.

Well, these pics are some I shot just for personal reference, so the parts are a little crusty, but they might give you the visual you need:

However, I don't recall any washer in there :hmm: ....something tells me that's some more 'Southern engineering'.
