re: WHAT PRIMER??????????????????????
I'd go with a white or light grey....primer coats seem to make the final coat more flat or gloss depending on which colors you use

Decide what brand of paint you want to use. Then ask for a primer that is compatible with the paint including the best color. I think it would be hard to out engineer the folks who make the paint.

if you can get a white that would be great...but grey, red and black are the most common...and im with bluef250 as far as the brands...try to keep the same brand or make sure there compatible.

Make sure the primer you use is a urethane primer.

re: WHAT PRIMER??????????????????????
Edgar,
Go to the store that you're going to get the paint from, and get the compatible primer. I hope you'll be dealing with someone that sells paint all the time and not just another parts seller... but like has been said before, stick with the system/brand all the way through, then you ensure that you wont have problems down the road. A light colored primer under a white topcoat is best for a "glow" in the bright sunlight.... no matter how many coats of white you put on.
When I was a manufacturer of paint and primers, some of the worst tech calls we had were when someone figured they knew more about the paint than the people that made it. We knew what was compatible, how to mix it and how to shoot it.... cost us lots of money to find out...
