If your truck is scratched, read this.

Post by blue68 »

My truck has a few little few hairline scratches and even some deep ones too. There's even some scuff markes form where other color vehicle's doors have hit it.

I went down to Wal-mart and got some "Mequires Scratch X". It was really expensive. Like $8.50 for only 7oz.

IT REALLY WORKS GREAT! It completley removes scratches.

It removes swirls too.

Its a liquid. Its creamy, not hard. It's runny , so I wouldn't call it a compound. Its in a black tube.

Well, I guess it is sort of like a really powerful wax that removes dead faded paint leaving a bright finish. It actually does not remove the scratch, it just fills it in. You can't see the scratch, but if you rub your hand on it, you can still feel where it once was.

Hello guys , i have been using this for years and if you really wont a nice clean truck, use mequires detail after the wax and it will shine like glass !!!!!!! also if you wash on fri. sat morning you can go wipe the due off and use detail spray and its all good .My son and i went to a ford truck show and that is all every one used , I said to one of the reps. from mequires that i had a problem with the detail spray and he gave us over 50.00 in products and apologized, now i think that worth using !! I said that the detail spray was leaving small white streeks , his reply was that i did not shake it up enough but also said it could be that the telfon may have clomped to gather and would not stand for that ! I use this on my work truck and cars if speaks for it self use it once .
