I'm in the process of replacing my king pins and decided to do the radius arm bushings and the axle pivot bushings. After dropping the front end I'm now ready to bolt everything together. so.. do I put a jack under the front end and take the tension OFF the coil springs to tighten down the nut, or do I relieve all the tension on the coil spring and tighten the nut?
The nut I'm talking about is the one that attaches to the stud that connects the radius arm to the axle and hence the the coil spring
Any ideas?

if you have a spring compressor, then get everything bolted up without the coils in, then add them in once its all done. I did it this way, and didnt have to hassle with the springs while I bolted everything else up.
When the going gets tough, your doing something right.
