My truck is a 69, but it has a '67 grill. I wasn't about to pay $300+ for the correct grill. However, I found one at the Columbus swap meet for $190.00...in perfect condition (needs polished, but very straight). I'll post pics later on.
Good find for the money!....Except you installed it backwards...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

I knew someone would say something about that...when I was taking the pictures, I thought to myself "Yep...someone will have something to say about the grill being on the wrong end..."
Anyone have any tips for polishing this? I read the other thread on this subject, but that thread dealt with removing the annodizing. I don't want to make it a show piece...I just want to brighten it up a little. Should simply to to town on it with a buffer and aluminum polish?
Nice find. I wish I could find a steel one that nice.

In order to polish aluminum, you have to remove the covering (anodizing) that on it, otherwise you're just trying to polish the anodizing. Yeah, it's a lot of work....but the end result is definitely worth it.

I hope you find something too! I have the worst luck at finding stuff. When I do happen upon something, it's usually not for sale, already sold, a gazillion dollars, or something else.
