power sterring oil cooler hose?
Ok, I've replace the power steering gear box and now I still have leaks at or near the PS pump. There is a oil cooler that sits above the ps pump and one of the hoses to the return line is rubber, no problem to fix but the other one looks like rubber plus metal connection to the gear box. Can I just replace this part with just the rubber hose because it's a return line to the cooler and back to the ps pump?

The hose that is just clamped you can replace with a regular hose, but the one with the fittings is a high pressure line. They offer them at the auto shops. Or take a chance and go junkyarding for one.

re: power sterring oil cooler hose?
I know there a pressure hose from the pump to the gear box which I had replaced but there one from the gear box to the cooler which appears to be a pressure hose and from the cooler to the pump is the return line which is just the rubber 3/8 hose. I wasn't sure if I replace the hose from the gear box to the cooler with just a 3/8 hose? Is there much pressure from the gear box back to the cooler anyway?

You can replace the hose from the gear to the cooler with regular hose. It should be just clamped onto the fitting off the gear.

ok, that fine. I'll be replacing the ps pump tomarrow night with the new hose and hopefully no leaks. Thanks for the info.
