Olde Skool update 5-5-07

What a day it has been. Could not ask for a better day to work on the bus.
If I was to go by what I accomplished on my to do list for today… I mean besides getting out of bed, I only got one thing done that was one my official list of things to do today…
I didn’t even go yardin’ today, which was at the top of my list… in fact, I didn’t even call the guy at the local wrecking yard to see if I could talk him down a few bucks on the clearance light I want…
I didn’t make it to Home Depot or Wal*Mart, in fact, I stayed right here in town all day.
I spent most of the day in the bus doing things I hadn’t planned to do…
and didn’t do any of things that I had… such is life…
I spent the majority of the day… either sitting in the Kaptn’s seat or laying around on the floor… I did get a lot done however…
I did a lot of rewiring in the main “busâ€Â

Cool. What are the plans for the bus? Looks like you've got some cabinets and such already in there...with toolbox. Is this going to be the pick n pull bus?

Hi Steve...

I have several update posts on Olde Skool as to the direction I am going with it.
Eventually, it is going to be a motor home conversion. It is much easier to the work that I need to do on it with all the tools I need being right there handy. I made post about a '49 Ford schoolie that was the closest I have seen to what I have in mind for her. You can follow the link below to see the progress on Olde Skool. I also call her by her nic name "Shorty".
I am going to attach a couple of pictures of the Emerald Gypsy (the '49 Ford) so you can get an idea. I am an SCA member an do medieval re-enactment so I wanna go a little more like a medieval castle, but the pics will give you an idea...
I wanna say that I am a veteran (Air Force 5 years) and I hold a very high regard for those who serve in our armed services. You are to be commended. Thank you for serving.

take care,
KaptnKAOS

I know this is an old thread but I was hoping to get some pictures from this project. I have a 1975 Ford Bus that I believe is a Carpenter body. Hoping to get some help on getting it road worthy again. Thanks!
