Nice to see an update on this one!
Ispy a power sun roof!
And remind me again on the powerplant, is it a Coyote?
Without a doubt this will be the baddest bump crew I've ever seen here in over 20 years!
Better plan on some vacation time to tour the show circuit(s)!

Thanks Jeff. We had to pause fabrication for a few weeks, but we are back on it.basketcase0302 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 6:05 am Nice to see an update on this one!

Yes, I got a panoramic sunroof from a 2015 F150. It's a big roof in the crew cab so I thought it would be nice to let a little sunlight in.
I have a Gen 3 Coyote mated to a 10R80.
Hopefully we can get fab completed by the end of the year. It's taken longer than I planned, but you can't rush quality work. I'm thinking another year before it's done.

Psyched even more about your build knowing it's a Coyote!
I want to put one on an airboat down here and know there are only 3-4 tops in existence. The hardest thing for us to overcome from the OEM Coyote "build" is always the ECU programming where it relates to the peak cam/engine curve, (airboats operate a lot at near WOT up past 5000 RPM).
Have you played with the Fordscape, (not sure on spelling) programming I've heard of yet?
It's either Coyote or the Ecoboost to shut down the LS crowd with is 95% of all decent running airboats these days LOL.
Def a build that does not need to be rushed! See making a long...shelf for the trophies it'll bring in!

Re: 1969 Ford F250 Crew Cab on bagged/body dropped chassis
I had to do a Coyote, although I thought about the Godzilla motor. When I bought power plant, there wasn't much aftermarket support for the Godzilla.
It's a good thing Coyotes have a high red line.
I haven't messed with anything related to engine. The wish list is to add a Whipple or a Procharger. I don't have the hood clearance for the Whipple, but we may fix that.
The problem with taking our time on the fab is that I start thinking about other modifications to add to the list.

LOL on the adding to the list!
US Body offers a glass bump hood that you could easily modify to tuck that blower under.
