C6AE-L
and C6AE-U are both Mercury heads.

If the ports, chambers and valve sizes look the same then they should worK

Did you say you got these heads from Summit? Where are the original heads for the Colony Park?

Long gone on the heads .as for the summit 2 f19 heads they are called surefire 2 f19 long out of production.

Hard seats and hard valves small chambers and small exhaust ports .they are supposed to be high compression.my truck has the original exhaust manifold s with large ports .will that be a problem.i think that my intake came from a medium duty 330 .just a question as my dist fits this intake.the reason I say medium duty is that motor used parts from ford Fe.

Itryed to send the date code under the oil filter adapter but it would not send.i hope I sent the right ones as I have over 30 of the truck and motor.thanks

I think I have the engine problem solved it is a 330 md which would explain the ft parts with a 428. Crank and longer rods to make it a 410 with the .40 overbore.i could be wrong .but that is the only thing that makes sense.

But that doesn't explain the flex plate with the counter weight and the front counter weight

What is the last photo (193309.jpg) in the first e-mail? The balancer spacer? What does the writing say?

Have you actually measured the bore with a dial caliper or micrometer?

Also, did you say if it has 352 or a mirror 105 cast below the deck on one bank?

Remember what I said about casting numbers telling you what it isn't? According to what I find it can't be a Mercury 410, at least it didn't start life that way.

However, if it is a 3.98 stroke and a 4.090 bore it is "410" with a .040 over bore for rebuilding yielding an actual displacement of 418.

Spacer is supposed to balance the front of the crank .also a guy came to the store in chloride and had a truck like mine and he said he has built a number of 410s and he verify the code under the oil filter adapter and it is a 67 mercury 410 with a iu crank he. Also verify the crank code with a scope that he put in the front of the block and he also verify the ft oil pump and he said that he would send me the right Head gasket and intake manifold gasket.and also has a set of the right exhaust manifold and a set of head bolts so I can start the rebuild.and hope I don't have to also he verify my measurements that I took with a digital micromater he was all over the engine checking number s .so that gives me the verify that I need .and no I didn't ask his name I just thanks him and he went on his way and said he likes helping.

The block says 352.

Well - really date codes and such don’t matter at that point. It’s a 40 over 410 (418) . Although all sorts of anomalies have been found that particular block casting should have no problem with a 40 over bore.

Just put it together. You can use the 1020 head gaskets it the 8554 head gaskets or full set. If it’s an S intake then use the Fel pro or victor intake gaskets listed for a medium riser.

The heads do your best to check port sizes and the placement of the exhaust port (measure from the bottom bolt to the port floor.

If your guy doesn’t come through with head bolts let me know I think I have a set.

I just got my new ft dist.but I need to get a different oil pump shaft it takes a ft dist shaft I read there is a oil pump shaft that is 5sixteenth and quarter inch but don't remember where to find it .I was mistaken my oil pump shaft is a 5 sixteenth my mistake..t!hanks

I keep forgetting about other parts my new balancer is a pro parts 80009 7.5 inch a guy in Kingman whose name is Kermit said use a 7.5 instead of a 7 inch .he as a Fe builder and racer for many years.im going to have him build my Merc omatic trans when I can .
