New guy Santa Maria CA

Post by Vwbuggin69 »

Greetings and thanks for the add! This is Walter, my new to me 68 F-250. Has the Ranger package, so it’s the first vehicle I own with power steering and auto. Love the 360 power plant. Now off to adjust the Holley 2bbl the PO stuck on it.

Welcome.

Nice looking rig! What are your plans after the Holley adjustment?

Thank you. It’s was built in San Jose and, before the PO, I really don’t know. Over the next couple months my plan is to find out. I know I can go through the DMV and find out. And yes, 0 major rust. None. Even the tool box is solid.

Get the 2nd tank going and concentrate on the interior. I want to find some steelies instead of the rims on it now. I saw that econoline rims are the same so I’m going to hit up some local junkyards to see if they have them.

I would think the body work would be fun. Weld up all the trim holes? And a paint job in the future?

Econoline rims are indeed the same. That is what I run on my F250.

I have all the trim so some body work, paint, then trim
