Is it just me? Every time I order something from these clowns it gets messed up.
The latest is a bead roller that was on sale. They take your order and all the billing info, then tell you it's on back order until March 16. I called today and now it's on back order until the end of May.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
I've had no problem with them. I even bought my big upright air compressor through HF.

Well, I had read a thread on the HAMB and about 20 guys all had their bead roller. All of them reinforced the tweaky frame but say that after it is beefed up it works as good as the more expensive ones. I really didn't need it right away so I can wait but I know those things can go on forever.

Yeah JB I had read that before too. You'll be ok if you beef it up like you said. But out of the box it sucks. So you are really just buying the dies IMO.
I have had good and bad luck with HF. In my machinist days I quickly learned to shy away from their tools made for that trade...they tend to be lower grade than most, and accuracy is everything in machining. But for occasional-use home tools, some of their stuff isn't bad, and their prices are usually lower than most. I also stick to the local store, though.
