Got my new seat in finally

Post by CJ,s 67 F100 »

I finally found a red or maroon or burgundy seat in a style I liked. Just got it in. Its a after market seat and it bolted right up to my original truck rails. Had to measure and drill 4 holes. I didnt think it was going to be that easy. I had visions of cutting square tube, welding, fitting, grinding, painting, in and out 9 times LOL Pics are posted

That is a nice seat!
Does that center console fold up to make a third seat?
What vehicle did that come out of?

How ever that steering wheel Huh! lol I'll have you know that was the first choice of my 15 year old son. My son says that steering wheel has "BLING" LOL. I wasnt aware we needed "BLING" I'm not 100% sure I even know what "BLING" is. I think its shiny, gawdy, cool to a 15 year old. I how ever am not 15 and it must have been the age difference, lack of needing "BLING" thing and I agreed with your thoughts completly when we first got it but that is the most comfortable steering wheel I ever had in my hands now that I have driven this truck about 1500 miles. Mak, I got the seats at a aftermarket truck/ car parts accessories place here in Dallas

DotCentral, My old seat looked good is all it was. The original owner and the second owner both weighed 250, so after 38 years lets just say the springs were shot. It also had a small tear on the drivers side. I didnt know this truck could ride this good since we put the new seats in. Thanks Charles
