neutral safety switch
Finished getting my steering column make together everything works, but now i have a another problem when i hooked the battery back up the motor starts to turn over and the key switch is off i disconnected the cable from the solnoid then it quits if i hook the cable back up it starts throwing sparks from the battery could it have something to do with the neutral safety switch? The reason i ask this when i had the steering column apart maybe i moved the position when i was messing around with the gear selector everything worked fine before i redid the column thanks

Re: neutral safety switch
The neutral switch doesn't have power unless the ignition switch is in the crank position.

Re: neutral safety switch
Was anything else tampered with while the column was done?
