i was given a new front disc brake setup from classic disc brakes in Granbury tx. the owner decided to crown vic so he didn't want it
I got the whole front end I beams and all plus 4 new shocks rear leafs and power steering box and all tie rods everything
it was for a 69. I just bought a new booster with the adjustable proportioning valve. I should be able to unbolt the rotors and put on mine correct? its a 67. just curious what im getting myself into. I know the pressure differential switch will be gone and I hope the 240 will make at least 17 lbs of vacuum
sounds easy? yeah right...any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Wow! Great deal! Not quite that easy but not really difficult. You'll have to remove your kingpins to get the drum spindles off and put the disc spindles on. Hopefully the kingpins won't give you too much trouble coming out.

I did this a couple of years ago for my '67 F250. I know; different lug nuts, blah blah blah. Yes, different animals. But '67 was a one-year design for the brakes. I ended up using a '67 booster, connected to a '68 master cylinder (mine had a booster already, so I used a '67 booster to connect to my pedal, then I was able to use a disc/drum master cylinder for a '68). I was able to use my spindles, beams, etc. The dust shields and caliper brackets came from the junk yard. Everything else came from RockAuto for a '68.

Moral of the story: '67 uses a different pedal system than '68 and newer, so either swap in EVERYTHING, or be aware of the differences. Post pics, and good luck. You'll love front discs.

Honestly I'd be calling classic brakes and see what actually makes up the kit. Non OEM design stuff is a bear to replace so you'll at least need to know who's parts they used in the kit before making assumptions.

good ideas
lucky for me they are only 70 miles away. I didn't get the hoses from the calipers so I have to get them too, im just trying to gather up parts and info from you guys to make this easier. one of the kits say I can use my spindles, not sure which one I have and the 67 one year only curse may affect that anyway. I was given this stuff last Monday and just put new front drums on the front that Saturday! still worth it tho :)

Hopefully they are stockish from the late '70's which would give you discs and also a front sway bar mount. What type (pressed steel or cast) and numbers are on the beams?
