Think it'll work? Cheap Chinese junk? What's your opinion?

Couple things I see right away. Double-D end on the steering shaft will not match up to steering box. Will require some kind of modification to install. Maybe switch to U-joint style coupling but length becomes a consideration then. At 36" steering shaft it might have enough clearance to fit but that's pretty long. Wiring plug is different so expect some work sorting out connections to get turn signals working. Original steering wheel may not fit. Check return policies carefully.

I'm thinking they're intentionally pursuing them like this. There's a bunch.

Am surprised they could even get away with even advertising that to even fit a bump era truck LOL!
I guess it would fit anything once you welded the right end onto it.

It's always hard to know where vendors are sourcing parts from..........
But I do remember a few years back, that on a number of forums (H.A.M.B., etc), people were posting pics of "Wang Chung" tilt columns that had failed. The scary part was, in the pics, the joint in the column that allows the tilt function was a male/female PLASTIC knuckle, and this is what was failing. Having it fail while backing it in/out of the shop is bad enough, but imagine the consequences of it failing on a public road.....at speed
Some parts, a guy can shave a buck on, others, it just may not be worth it................
