Help to Germany for FE and Headers

Hello dear people
My name is Lars from Germany and I own a Ford F100 from 1969 with a FE390 engine. I have been reading with you for a long time, but have only just registered
Now I have some questions I search headers for the car, currently the original ones are installed. my engine had C4AE cylinder heads. I have installed the additional tank under the vehicle on the car. So I have to go back along the right side of the vehicle with the exhaust pipes.
I would be grateful for tips on good, matching headers.

I would be happy to get some good information where I can buy such parts in the US if necessary.

Can you clarify:

1) Does it currently have stock manifolds on it (cast)?
2) Have you already done the exhaust?

Some pictures might help here.

Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com) and Jegs (http://www.jegs.com) are two very popular places to get this sort of part in the United States. FPA (http://www.fordpowertrain.com/fpaindex/FordTruck1.htm) is another place that offers headers.

Unfortunately there is no one that I am aware of that still makes an off the shelf exhaust kit (Hooker Headers used to make one which matched with their headers) so you will have to have it bent locally or use a “builder kit” which will include elbows and pipe for you to cut and weld locally.

Please ask if this doesn’t make sense.

Hello and thank you for the message.

I'm just building a new FE390 engine, this gets C4-AE heads with 8 screws. I would like to have a new header, an exhaust I have to build then.
From Hooker there are kits, but only 21/4 inches. I need 21/2 inches.
At the moment I think it would be Hooker or Sanderson Shorty Headers the best, then I have every opportunity to lay the pipes.
I can not imagine that the Tri-Y headers from FPA fit at all, especially at the front of the gearbox (C6)
Unfortunately, there is little space under the vehicle due to the additional tank, or better only on the right side ... and both tubes need to be on this side.
Or maybe I put the exhaust pipes outside of the frame, but if that's so nice ... I do not know ... there would be enough room there ...
