OEM Shock Color?

Post by DuckRyder »

Anyone have any idea what color the shock absorbers were from the factory (72ish)...

I’m not going for an exact match, just the color like black, blue, red, silver... and I might just paint them black anyway, but I’m curious...

FWIW, the “350 mile 1970 F100” appears to have had black shocks on it, there is one picture that you can barely see the right front shock in.

Mustangs of the era appear to have had black shocks...

I’m guessing black is correct?
