Hello from Tennessee

Post by Slong1958 »

IMG_1263.JPG
Just wanted to say hello from Tennessee and I’m looking forward to posting pics of my 69 F100 that I just pulled out of my barn where it’s been sitting for 20 plus years. Would someone please explain how to us the gallery to post pics because I can’t figure it out. Thanks

Your image link has to end in an image file type such as JPG or PNG.

You can also attach it if it isn’t too large and can check the box that says “display inline”.

Yep, Google photo app absolutely sucks for 3rd party hosting on forums. ImgBB.com works well for me.

I used to use photobucket but now I’m lost I guess the older I get the more difficult things get. I’m on another site ford-truck.com and it’s pretty easy there. I’ve looked around on here and there’s a lot of good posts on here and I’d like to open some posts of my own but I’d also like to add pics. Some I guess until I figure out how to add pics on here I want be starting any posts. I’m not to computer savvy so you guys please be patient with me. Thanks

So below the text window, you will see:

“Options”, "Attachments", and I believe “poll creation” on new topic.

Click on “Attachments” then “add file" and click the “place inline” box.

Easy peasy.

Ok I tried that and every time it says file to large. When I push attachments then add files it goes to my photo Library which is ok but when I select a photo it says error file too large. What I’m I doing wrong. Duckryder you said click place inline box I didn’t see that.
Thanks

Hmm,

Maybe google resizes them? All I did was save your photo and attach it to the original post.

What are you using to take the pictures and upload? (camera, phone, windows mac?).

iPhone and it shares with my iPad that’s how I’ve been doing it in the past. When I tried doing it your way it took me straight to my photo library not google photos
I pick a pic hit done and no go had the error message.

Looks like I figured it out I’m going to have to resize my photos I post.

Thanks for the help.
