Wiper Delay Setup

Post by Bullitt74 »

Looking for a wiper delay setup as in the article below. Hopefully someone has an extra they are willing to part with.

Steve.

I'm going to the salvage yards this weekend I'll see if I can find one for you.

Bulitt: Don't forget, that with a bit of tweaking, the W/S Wiper Switch and module, etc from trucks up to 1989 can be used, which should give you a much better chance of finding a donor.
I managed to find an '89 out at Bucks (Just east of Sherwood Park), got all the trinkets for something ridiculous like $7 and change:)

Ah Bucks...I remember when I could get out there and hit Edmonton Pick and Pull in the same day...then I had kids...

Wouldn’t trade the kids for the world though... :)

Selection was even better back in the day when there was also U-Pull-it, and Adam's, both of which are gone:(

Bucks is kind of hit & miss, one day the stuff is a bargain, the next time they will gouge you, no rhyme or reason to it. And if you ever call & ask what something is worth, make sure you get the persons name, because if they aren't there the day you show up and pull the parts, you may or may not get them for the price they told you over the phone (and at the risk of sounding like a misogynist, but this is VERY likely if one of the young lady's answers the call.....)
