Steering column info

Going to do p/s conversion on my 68 with the manual column. I've located a column from a 74 at a local salvage yard but it's in pretty rough shape as far as the internals.
My question is will the internal parts such as the bearings,turn signal switch and other such parts transfer from my 68 column to the 74? I just did a rebuild on the 68 column last year so all those parts are new.
