New soon to be owner (hopefully!)

Post by Angusg »

Hi all,

New user from the United Kingdom. I recently sold my 1969 Mustang coupe that I've had for a little over 12 years in order to buy a 5th gen ford truck. I have found one for sale (1970 F100 sport custom with 302) in Arkansas that I am in the process of trying to buy and ship back to the UK. Hoping it goes well as a bit worried about buying blind from so far away!

Am sure I will be on here plenty asking lots of questions if all goes well.

Cheers,
Angus

:wel: from Pennsylvania!

I did the same thing when I bought my truck from Arizona and had it shipped here! One of the most nerve-racking things I have ever done!
If you wanted, I could probably arrange someone to look at it for you in person, depending on location?

If you're interested, send me a PM or email.
Best of luck!

Thanks all. I have had to give the Arkansas one a miss sadly as it looked great. Hdman90 - thanks for the offer, very kind of you.

Will keep looking - have found one that’s already this side of the pond so may and go and look at that in due course.

Thanks

:wel: from Alberta, Canada! There are some good finds in Western Canada...try: http://www.kijiji.ca , as this is what we use instead of Craigslist.

I find and fix 67-72's. Feel free to message me. I've shipped around 40 of them in the last two years from the dry-climate Western US.

Hi all,

Thank you for the responses - I have now found and bought one that has just been imported from North Carolina - a 1970 long bed with 360. I will try and start a project thread this evening (although I'm hoping its not much of a project but these things tend to escalate....)
