New member with a project underway
Hello. I'm a new member and am working on a 72 XLT RANGER. I've put a fat man fabricatation mustang II on front and their flip Kit in rear. I've put disc brakes all around and am ready for an engine. Can't decide original 390 or new coyote and 6r80 or manual trans. I hope to pull my racecar to the strip about 45 minutes away and drive the he'll out of it. I want to post pics but when I hit add files and select a picture, it says file too large. When I back up my entire post is gone, any advice on the picture thing. I don't know what I'm doing and I hate computers with a passion. But im willing to learn. Thanks

Welcome to the page from Georgia. The picture size is limited on the page so you have to resize or embedded images. I use www.supermotors.net for my pictures free to use and you copy the link in. Many ways of uploading pictures to the forum sadly no real good way after all these years. Sounds like a awesome project your in a great bump spot the best there is . Can't wait to see your project!

Thanks. I'll try to use that to get some pictures up. What is a bump and thread?

67-72 ford trucks have the defining bump down the side of them. Thus bump or bumpsides... A thread is an article like this welcome thread you started. So go to the project updates category and start yourself and topic or thread on your truck!

Mr RangerXLT, to the best site period.
Hope you like it here.
Pull up a chair and stay awhile.
I like those Ranger XLT trucks.
The coyote motor & manual transmission would be really nice.
Good luck & keep us posted.
What type of racing are you in ?

I'm a drag racer. Bracket racing mostly. I have several Mustangs. I'm working on getting some pictures up. Thanks for the welcome. Never done a forum before so be patient with me and look forward to sharing my trucks progress.
