I have to find it, but I have a pic of my truck on 40's. It was a blast in the snow. We would air down the tires and crawl across the deep snow like nothing.

Thanks. Got some more work done on the new front axle. Got the passenger side axle out and the Knuckle off. Also managed to get the lower ball joint out. The good thing is the front axle seems to be in really good condition.

Scored a set of Mile Marker 104 hubs from Amazon for $57. I am going to pick up u-joints for the front axles as well.

Hubs came today, man they are nice! Got one u-joint installed in the axle. Now I have to pick up the Ball Joint tool from Autozone so I don't have to buy one! I want to get the Ball Joints done so I can get the axle panted.

Great score on the locking hubs! Can't wait to see the "new" axle all painted up!

Re: 1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating
I did get the four new Ball Joints installed into the knuckles. It was a breeze with the proper tool. I got the loaner from Autozone and it was great. While pulling the Drivers side hub I found a few surprises. The locking hub was broken, the wheel bearing is rusty and I think the u-joint is bad. Not a big deal as I have the new hubs and replacing the bearings were already a possibility. Now for the pictures.

Me too. I am hoping that there is a slight rake back to front.

Looking for perfect level on mine. I may add air bags on the rear like my dually for if it gets loaded up. Just like a nice tall simple stance..... If such a thing exists!!!!hfdco4 wrote:Me too. I am hoping that there is a slight rake back to front.

Well as you know, these things have springs that do not bend very well at all...LOL.
