1967 F100 Steering Wheel (Lunar Green)and horn Ring
HI there! I know it is a long shot but I am looking for a 1967 F100 Lunar Green Steering wheel and the horn ring to go with it. It is the last thing I need to complete my truck! I have a fully functional steering wheel I can trade if you are interested, if not of course I have cash. I am specifically looking for a Lunar Green one which is a light teal color. The one I have is a dark turquoise if anyone is interested in it. Thanks in advance

You might have to paint it. I also have a lunar green truck, and my steering wheel has a ton of cracks. it's also so worn that it's streaked half green and half black. I figure on patching the cracks during the winter months, then painting it when I paint the truck.

Bondo seems to work well. Fill the cracks, sand them down, and paint.
I believe that your lunar green wheel would have simply been a painted item from the factory. They did not make the actual wheel out of that color material.

It helps if you chamfer the cracks a little then fill them - I use a Dremel with a small pointed deburr bit to widen them out a little on top - dad did this on his '59 Impala wheel 20 years ago and its still holding up.....

Thank you to everyone who responded! I have just kept the one that came with the truck for now. If I can find a factory one that is just black maybe I will have it painted or wrapped (Whatever the proper way to do it is) It is not too bad, but I know it will get worse so I was trying to preemptively fix it! Thanks again and sorry for the late response...you know how life goes!
