Hello from the midwest!
Hey all, Just got a new to me 70 F-100, 2wd. Southern truck 95% rust free, great shape IMO. Looking forward to getting it in REALLY nice shape over time and using it as a daily driver! I've always driven old Chevys and GMC's (67's and 68's) and had one 76 F-100 years ago but this is my first truck like this. This looks like a great site, hope to get to know some of you all. I'm in Southern Indiana if there's anyone else out there close by, that would be great.

Re: Hello from the midwest!
Thanks everybody. Yeah after driving those old Chevys, I am surprised at how much more solid, smooth, quiet and all around nicer this 70 Ford is. Even more than the 76 Ford I had. None of them were as nice as this old pig is. I'm pretty stoked about it and love driving the 3 speed manual with over drive, that is also a trip!

Re: Hello from the midwest!
That's interesting to hear I would have figured these trucks ( Fords and Chevys) would have been right about on par. It would be interesting to see comparisons of the two.
