Hello from Arizona
Hello everyone! I have been lurking for a little while but now have purchased a '69 F100. I had tried to track down the original '70 f100 Ranger XLT that my parents had bought new off the show room floor and eventually sold 1999. I was able to track it to New York where the trail went cold. So the hunt changed to finding something close. My first passion is classic Japanese cars so I'm excited to work on some American metal if not for the proliferate aftermarket support then for the cubic inches!

Great question and thanks for that! It was 1970 F100 Ranger XLT Short bed, 390, A/T, dual tanks in solid Yucatan Gold. I'm sure I could find a picture but I think that gives some solid criteria!

I have to admit that I didn't know where Paulden was until I looked it up! Beautiful area and close to so much! I'm in Mesa.

Re: Hello from Arizona
Too crowded down there for us,but my eldest daughter and son in law live in Queen Creek so we get down there from time to time
Paulden is ~4,500' so it's a bit cooler here in the summer and you're right it's pretty AND there is a lot to do if you like the boonies.
