The new guy.

Post by murdock2112 »

Hey everyone names Matt and im coming from the Cougar/Mustang world. Just picked up a 1969 F100 to tinker around with. Ive been looking for a reliable site for parts and only one ive found is LMC. Is that all there is? I may be spoiled because of Mustangs and the insane amount of repo parts out there. LMC just seems high priced and high shipping. Anyway looking forward to messing around with the F100.

I have two Stangs.. a 65 coupe and 68 coupe. An F-truck is like a big Mustang.

2x.. some LMC parts are way overpriced. Also avoid LMC's soft rubber and plastic products. . their formulation doesn't hold up to UV and heat exposure. For these, go to Dennis Carpenter. Otherwise, my go to place is National Parts Depot for repro products. Be a savvy shopper.

:yt: I agree completely with what HIO Silver mentioned in the above message about LMC. And as mentioned, some things with LMC may cost more than other reproduction companies but there are other items they carry that are good and have a lower price. :wel: to the forum and have fun with your new toy! :fr:
