Hi everyone. I've been daily driving this 76 f100 for the last year. It's a bare bones l6 3-speed manual on the floor. Manual everything. I bought it for $850 from a lady in sc. on the test ride the truck broke down do to a clogged carb. I rebuilt the carb on the side of a back road and got her running again, drove back to the lady's house and said "I'll take it". Then proceeded to drive it 2 hours back to Asheville nc. I've since upgraded the cooling system with a dual core radiator and 180 t-stat, properly rebuilt the carb and added an extra fuel filter, changed plugs, and changed the trans fluid. She hasn't missed a beat. I've put 8 thousand miles on the truck since I bought it. It's and old work truck still doing what it was made to do. I cleaned up the interior and added a one of a kind brake release (70s .22 blank pistol) threw some pin up water slide decals on it, patched the floors, etc. I plan on lowering the truck 2-3 inches, keeping it functional as a truck. I have the crown lowering shackles, now I just need the time.
